Motivation Case Study

Consider the motivation case study example below:

Karl is a Grade 7 student who is falling behind in his school work. He attends school every day and dutifully sits in class, seemingly listening to the lessons for the day. However, he has trouble keeping on task when it comes time to complete the hands on activities that follow a lesson. These activities are important as they help consolidate learning. During activity time, Karl’s mind seems to wander. He has considerable difficulty focusing on the task at hand. When you speak to him, Karl tells you that he finds school boring.
