Week 22 summarizes the philosophical foundations of the 'inquiry learning' philosophy with reference to a short reading and video. Examples of the philosophy's influence on K-12 education in Ontario are described. The educational philosophy of John Dewey is summarized. Project-based learning, a collaborative inquiry approach, is introduced. Students choose an Ontario elementary or secondary curriculum document within which to look for evidence of the 'inquiry learning' philosophy.
