Week 3 begins by going wide, exploring the myriad ways teachers teach and students learn around the world. Comparative education is defined as a scholarly field. Historical and emerging issues in comparative education are reviewed. The CRAAP test, a tool used to evaluate sources of information, is introduced. Three videos that focus on education in Finland, Singapore, and Germany are viewed. The week’s course content closes with a U.S. perspective on Canada’s schools.
